300 g Fresh Okra (2-3 cups)

1 TSP Sumac

1 TSP Smoked Paprika

1 TSP Black Pepper

1 TSP Garlic Powder

Dash of Salt (optional)



  1. Pre-heat oven to 400 F

  2. Slice the Okra lengthwise and remove the tops.

  3. In a bowl combine the Okra and all spices. Mix to coat

  4. Lay our the spiced Okra on a parchment paper or silicon mat lined baking sheet. Put the hard shell down and lay the okra in a single layer.

  5. Bake for 25 minutes.
