Quinoa + Hemp Nuggets

Whole Food Plant Based | Vegan | Oil Free | Kid Approved






Makes 30-35 Nuggets


1/2 Cup Cooked Cauliflower

1/4 Cup Veg-Cheese

1/2 Cup Cooked Carrots

1 TBSP Nutritional Yeast

1 Clove Garlic

1 TSP Salt (optional)

1 Cup Cooked Quinoa

3 TBSP Bread Crumbs

1 TBSP Turmeric

1/4 Cup Hemp Hearts/Seeds



  1. Preheat Oven to 400 F.

  2. Steam or boil your Cauliflower and Carrots until just soft.

  3. In a food processor combine the cooked cauliflower, cooked carrots, veg-cheese, nutritional yeast, garlic, and salt.

  4. Place into a large bowl and hand mix with the cooked Quinoa.

  5. In a separate bowl, mix the bread crumbs, turmeric and hemp hearts/seeds.

  6. With your wet mixture roll 1 TBSP into balls. Coat them in the crumb mixture and flatten them into coins.

  7. I put them into a silicon mini muffin pan. They work perfectly. You can lay them out in an even layer on a silicon lined baking sheet if you don't have a silicon mini muffin pan.

  8. Bake for 23-25 minutes.
